Fáilte! Welcome to the website of Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní).
My name is Maeve Kilroy and I am delighted to have worked at Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní) since 2014. I was honoured to be appointed Principal in January 2023 and I feel privileged to lead this vibrant school community in which learning flourishes and where our girls thrive.
Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní) is a school for girls which is situated in the heart of Blanchardstown Village, in Dublin 15. Our girls come from many different parts of the world and bring with them an enriching diversity of culture and language. Our school has a Catholic Ethos while at the same time welcomes children of all faiths and none.
We are very lucky to have a wonderful team of staff here in Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní). Everything in Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní) is child centred and underpinned by respect where we live out our Catholic Ethos and school motto every day “Let us treat others as we would like them to treat us”.
Here, in Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní), this value is imparted to the children from their very first day at school. We hope that our girls will carry this philosophy with them throughout their lives.
In Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní), we aim to nurture all aspects of the development of our girls. We strive for a positive atmosphere where each person is valued and where the dignity of each person is respected at all times. We promote all aspects of learning and personal development with a particular emphasis on respect for self and for others.
Thank you for visiting our website. If you already have links with Scoil Bhríde (Cailíní), I hope you regularly check the website in order to keep up to date with school events. If you are thinking of sending your child to our school, I hope you find the website informative and we look forward to meeting you in the future.
