Big Wins for Scoil Bhríde Cailíní
On Wednesday, March the 5th, the Scoil Bhríde Cailíní Soccer Team took part in the FAI 5-a-side soccer blitz in Hartstown Football Club. This is the 3rd time that the school has entered a team in the competition and it was our most successful year to date!
The team consisted of Maja, Mollie, Hollie, Faye, Nicoleta, Diana, Nina and Angelina, all from 6th Class.
The team drew their first match 1-1, followed by a narrow defeat in their second match. However, the third and fourth matches saw the team winning both, scoring 5 goals over the two matches, and conceding none!
Well done to the girls on their fantastic performances.
