Internet Safety Week was held in Scoil Bhríde Cailíní on the 19th of April 2021. To mark this, classes engaged in lessons and participated in a poster competition to promote Internet Safety. The girls were reminded about online safety messages. These will help them to use the internet in a safe and positive way. In Ireland, Internet Safety is promoted by PDST Technology in Education and Webwise, with the theme for 2021 “Together for a Better Internet”.
Parents can also get involved in the online safety conversation with children at home. To help you with this, you may be interested in accessing the free advice and supports on the Webwise Parents Hub – www.webwise.ie/parents. More information is also available under the Parents’ section on our school website.
