A Visit from Jack Chambers

Jack Chambers, Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin West visited Scoil Bhríde Cailíní on Monday 16th May. Jack is currently the Government Chief Whip and is also Minister of State for Sport, Gaeltacht & Defence.

He was welcomed to the school by our talented musicians from 6th Class. He then visited Ms. O’Connor’s second class where the girls performed ‘He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands’ in a variety of languages.

Mr. Chambers then visited the pupils in 4th, 5th and 6th Classes. The girls asked some excellent questions and were given a great insight into the life of a government minister.
